1         Introduction

Transtech Driven has implemented a new approach to speed event alerting and reporting as we’ve moved to the NextGen platform. Where previously we generated speed alerts and reports based on instantaneous 30 second GPS data, the new implementation takes a more granular approach. Speed events are now generated on the device, looking at second by second GPS data.
