What is Night Rest and how is the start/end time of its violation calculated?
A night rest is 7h rest between 10pm and 8am, so the latest you can start rest is 1am -
we then count back from the end of the period from 1am for the number of rests still needed
ie if you need 4 rests, and have had 3, you need to rest on the last day by 1am.
(and) if you need 4, and taken 2, then you need to rest at the latest by 1am 2 days before the end of the period etc.
If you don't get the rests, then the violation goes to the end of the period (not 1am) - because you are in violation for the duration of the period
