High Definition Data
The High Definition Data feature displays second-by-second vehicle position records on an interactive map. This feature highlights the exact path traveled by a vehicle and allows you to drill down into an incident.
STEP 1:
Click on the tracking menu from the left hand side of NextGen
STEP 2:
On the right hand side, click on the fleet you want to view, then on the vehicle
STEP 3:
The vehicle will centre on the screen. Click the vehicle and the below information will display.
STEP 4:
Click on the Replay tab. Select the High Definition option, choose the preferred dates, then hit Go! The High Definition tracking screen will open in a new window.
Running your mouse over the graph at the bottom of the screen will move the blue dot on the map to indicate the vehicle's location at a given time and speed. Clicking at a point on the graph will create a red dot on the map to pinpoint a specific event, and clicking and dragging over the graph will zoom in on the data.
This new feature gives you improved accuracy when reviewing vehicles, helping you to reconstruct incidents and address poor driver behaviour.
