IVU Bluetooth Connection / Troubleshoot
To connect iFace to IVU via Bluetooth:
Find the IAPID (TTD01234) of the IVU, this can be found under Technical Details on the device (IVU) page.
Go to settings > three dots in the top-right
Select Admin
Enter password found under (Configuration Protocol for Site Administrators) on the device (iFace) page using ‘lock-code’ button.
Note: lock-code changes everyday, and we might need to use password from a previous day if the device has been offline.Enter IAPID from step-1 in IVU Identifier and ensure Bluetooth PAN is enabled.
Note that ‘TTD’ must be in capital letters.
Troubleshoot:
Check that IVU is online/communicating by looking at last-contact from IVU.
Ensure that 'bluetooth setNAPservice disabled' config is set to false (unticked, for ulmo-pro and MT201)
In Admin settings, check that IVU identifier (TTD01234) matches IVU assigned to vehicle.
Toggle Bluetooth PAN ON/OFF.
Test another working iFace in the vehicle:
If both iFaces fail, then IVU is faulty and needs TOW.
If test-iFace works, then RMA the original iFace.
